Confession: I Like Princessy Dresses.

It embarrasses me to think about, much less admit, how much I like dresses with cinched bodices and full tulle skirts and the like. I’d love to believe that it’s too delicate for me and I dress much harder than that, but at the end of the day we’re all suckers for fairy tales.

I unfortunately had too much school work to be able to watch the Academy Awards live this year, but you can be sure I pored over the red carpet pics as soon as I got home to my computer. Vintage Style Crush: Bianca Jagger

I can't say for sure as I've never met the woman myself, but Bianca Jagger has to be one helluva cool lady to roll with the crowd she did. If you're chilling with Andy Warhol and Halston (not to mention ex-hubby, Mick), there has to be something awesome about you. A lot of outrageous things have to be commonplace in your daily life. You know, like the good ole' riding-in-on-a-white-horse-to-your-birthday-party-at-Studio-54 thing. Or kissing-Halston-in-front-of-an-upside-down-Warhol-portrait-of-your-face. ...Ok, clearly she's not the girl-next-door, but what a gal she is.

Vintage Fashion Inspiration: Slim Aarons

I LOVE SLIM AARONS SO MUCH. Every single picture he takes is beautiful. I want to buy all of his coffee table books and look through them every morning while drinking espresso and eating croissants. Wouldn't that be the best way to wake up?
